Dark and ample, with gorgeous energy, it offers up an exotic mlange of dark plum, cedar, spice, new leather, licorice and rose petal. The 2023 is wonderfully deep and expressive. In most cases, the Sandlands wines can be enjoyed relatively soon after release, but I would cellar this. The blend of Carignane, Cinsault and Zinfandel works so well.
