Large Vintage Faisselle (Cheese Draining Pot), Corrèze France c.1950 transferware bowl pagodas and fisherman figuresA substantial faisselle from the Corrze region, traditionally used for draining fresh cheeses. The pierced form and simple proportions make these pieces both practical and highly decorative. Ideal as a fruit bowl, or sculptural kitchen piece. It adds texture and an unmistakable French provincial feel. Artisanal make in hard wearing French stoneware with a delightful warm tone and hand made texture. Height 4 in (10. 2 cm), diameter 6 in (15. 2 cm).
