Ruddy ducks and pied-billed grebes spend a few days resting and recouping at Wildflower Lake before continuing their migration north on this beautiful spring morning at Wildflower park

With my camera gear and tripod in hand

focused and began shooting this ethereal and foggy scene as the sunlight penetrated through the clouds softly illuminating the cottonwood trees and the oak trees at Wildflower Park

I knew where in the park that had an abundance of wildflowers
