Each piece is an authentic piece of turquoise from various mines across the United States. There are mines all over the southwest, the Kingman, the Sleeping Beauty, now closed, the Fox mine and Mine 8. Each mine has a signature color, and type of matrix. As a gemologist and a gems expert, I have been collecting these pieces and finally put them on a nice strong white Kevlar cord with an easy to
