In beautiful cobalt blue glaze it has chrysanthemum flowers in bloom as well as bamboo and foliage . Traditionally in Japan a hibachi is considered an enclosure for fire, usually hot coals sitting on a bed of ash used to help heat small spaces, lite a pipe or warm water for tea.
