A big trend in Victorian times, this dish probably dates from after, in the 1930s, and took pride of place on the tea, lunch or supper table to ensure guests and family could help themselves to the fish whilst observing the etiquette of the day. A lovely piece and can be used as originally intended, or as a decorative piece. Hand painted lidded
